Jon, welcome to us, but why Based on People?
There is an incredibly large capital of accumulated competence at Based on People and I see it as a pleasure to be able to take part in this and also contribute with my experience and with my competence. But above all, I am attracted by the culture and values that govern Based on People and after meeting all colleagues during the recruitment process, this felt genuine and credible. I am convinced that people are stronger together and for Based on People this is and has been a success factor.
How do you think the recruitment industry will develop in the future?
Everyone has more or less been forced to embrace the digital ways of working in their recruitment processes to a greater extent, which creates efficiency and is good for the environment. However, in my opinion, this places even greater demands on managing to create trust and confidence in the candidate market, focusing on relationships and qualitative recruitment processes becomes crucial to attract the right skills. The pandemic has also meant new ways of working where remote jobs to some extent will probably be seen as a matter of course from the employee's perspective.
What did we not know about you privately?
Like many others, I am interested in sustainability and alternative ways of living, I have my own bees, brew my own beer and have a dream of growing to a greater extent to become more self-sufficient. However, I am in the middle of life with two small children at home and an ongoing house renovation so time is not really enough. Looking forward to an exciting fall at Based on People!
