Comfort is one of Sweden's largest installation chains, with over 2,700 employees and more than 150 branches. We offer complete solutions in plumbing, electricity and ventilation - from materials and installation to service and maintenance. We are now looking for a driven and business-minded category manager in HVAC who wants to be involved in developing our product segment and strengthen our competitiveness in an expansive phase. Comfort is investing in continued growth through acquisitions and recruitment of new member companies, with the aim of an IPO in 2025.

About the roles

As a Category Manager VS at Comfort, you will have a central role in developing and optimizing our product segment within VS. You will drive strategic and operational purchasing work, from strategy development to implementation and follow-up. In this role, you will work closely with our member and subsidiary companies to ensure that our purchasing work supports the group's business goals. You report to the Head of Business Support and are responsible for leading the VS Purchasing Council.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for a profitable and market-oriented VS range.
• Performing analysis and follow-up to ensure that the product range meets market needs and follows the defined strategy.
• Lead category management and ensure products with the right price and quality.
• Negotiate with suppliers and develop long-term partnerships.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs for continuous improvement of the product range.
• Support and train our companies in efficient purchasing and use of the Comfort range.
• The category manager will also work and support our companies with project purchasing
• Developing and following up category plans

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• Post-secondary education in purchasing, finance and/or supply chain
• At least 5 years of experience in business and/or purchasing and/or product liability in VS or related product area
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier development and contract management
• Ability to work in a structured and analytical way, with a good experience in MS Office, especially Excel
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• A service-oriented and supportive approach that is essential to promote and establish successful cooperation with the group's companies

Background and skills

You have a proven background in supplier development, negotiation and product range development as well as project management experience. Your industry experience and technical understanding of VS or related product areas will enable you to quickly familiarize yourself with and contribute to our work. You thrive on inspiring others and creating commitment around common goals and projects.

Placement

The role is located at the Comfort chain's head office in Kista. The role involves an average of 1-2 days of travel per week as you are expected to work closely with our companies and suppliers.
