On behalf of our client are we searching for a CFO to a swedish scale-up company in the FMCG and pharmaceutical industry

Role Overview

The CFO will play a strategic role in the company, overseeing all financial operations and acting as the CEO:s second in command with responsibilities akin to those of a Chief Operating Officer (COO).

This role includes direct responsibility for

• board communications
• financial forecasting
• investment strategies
• risk management

The CFO will be involved in following up on costs, sales, and investments related to partners and distributors, though the direct management of these relationships will remain with the CEO and CCO.

Experience in M&A processes is essential

Additionally, the CFO will oversee and be responsible for external IT solutions and ERP partners, as our client currently is preparing for implementing a new ERP system. Today there is no CIO in the company, and the IT/ERP solutions will be provided by external partners under the CFO's responsibility.

Required individual and personal skills

Education

• The candidate should preferably have a BSc, MSc or MBA in business administration, economics or another relevant field

Work experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven track record of success in international manufacturing companies in preferably the FMCG, Pharma, or Tobacco industries.
• Experience dealing with complex manufacturing and distribution landscapes, skilled in reporting, using BI tools, and effective scenario planning.

 Business critical personal skills and competences

• Outstanding communication skills, adept at building presentations and reporting to the Board.
• Strategic mindset, capable of acting as a COO, with strong analytical skills and exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in M&A processes and an understanding of the landscape as our owners’ plan for an exit in the coming years.
• An entrepreneurial person who sees challenges as opportunities
• High self-motivation and own initiative
